We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Manager to lead the design efforts for large-scale photovoltaic (PV) projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire design process, ensuring the development of high-quality, cost-effective, and technically sound designs that meet project requirements and industry standards.

- Oversee and manage the design process for solar PV plants, from concept to detailed design.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, and external consultants to ensure designs are aligned with project objectives.
- Lead the development of electrical, structural, and civil designs for photovoltaic installations, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Conduct technical feasibility studies, site assessments, and system design optimization.
- Ensure all designs are developed within budget constraints and adhere to project schedules.
- Provide guidance on selecting appropriate materials, equipment, and technology for each project.
- Review and approve technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Ensure close coordination between the design team and construction teams to guarantee smooth project execution.
- Monitor industry trends and advancements in photovoltaic technologies to incorporate best practices in design.
- Assist with obtaining the necessary permits and regulatory approvals.
- Lead design review meetings with clients and stakeholders, providing clear communication and technical expertise.
Perfil buscado (H/M/D)
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in the design and engineering of large-scale photovoltaic systems.
- Expertise in solar PV system design, including electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects.
- Familiarity with design tools and software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, and Helioscope.
- Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to manage and lead design teams, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- A strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel to project sites when necessary.
